About me

Background and training

I'm fully licensed in Connecticut and New York as a clinical social worker (LCSW) and I've been a practicing psychotherapist since 2017, when I completed my graduate degree at Southern Connecticut State University. I offer in-person sessions in New Haven, CT as well as telehealth/online therapy sessions to clients throughout CT and NY.

My graduate program and internships were oriented towards cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). I also completed an additional two years of postgraduate training in psychodynamic therapy through the Western New England Institute for Psychoanalysis (2018-2020). I completed basic training in Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) through the Anna Freud organization and the Gunderson Personality Disorders Institute at McLean Hospital. I also completed training in offering Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) services through Fluence. For more information on these approaches, please visit my Specialties and Approach page on this website.

In addition to my experience since 2017 as a licensed psychotherapist in private practice, I have prior experience providing direct services to clients at a sexual assault crisis center, a primary and behavioral health integration program at a nonprofit mental health agency, and a university student counseling center.

My clinical approach is informed by my theoretical orientations and their respective techniques, but my overall approach to treatment is client-centered, individually tailored, and eclectic. For more information or to schedule a phone consultation with me, please visit my Contact page.
